I realized once you own a set of nail stamping kit, you are gonna love creating new nail style rather than going to the salon. It is way more fun to design something that matches your style without spending a ton of money and time. I am a true lover of this invention and i think it is defiantly worth the investment.
The main thing i love about this creation is it give you so much ideas and potential to come up with unique design that no one can even think of or try to achieve without the tool. That is our advantage. It just make the job a lot easier & faster.
A lot of my friends couldn’t believe my nails are done at home and almost cost me nothing ( except for the basic kit, plates & special nail polish). So I try the product on them and they knew i wasn’t lying when I say this will only take 5 minutes.
Of course, unless you really love doing the work and will use the product, it will still be a waste of money if you are not gonna utilize it. At the end, DIY is not for everyone. (A lot of girls i know will rather spend the money in the salon, in that case, do what makes you happy.)
I really like the different lace designs i got from some recently purchased plates so i try to incorporate them as much as possible. I figure i will add the polka dots in and see how they look right next to each other. They actually work surprisingly well combined. It look feminine but adorable.
Besides some basic steps, all we need is some lace across our nails in different angel, my laces are pretty free-flowed. I just place them in different angel base on my own preference. (no one will know you made a mistake anyway)
I choose a thicker lace design so it is pretty outstanding since it take up a lot of space. If you only have the thin lace, you might want to double that up to achieve the result. After the lace is on, I added polka dot only to one side of the nail. ( I guess you can fill up the rest of the space but i didn’t want to over do it, might try that next time).
For the thumb I did a barbie girl print with big polka dot bow on top to match the rest of my nail style. I love this girl print because there is no way that I can draw this, especially on my right hand. But look how easy and useful my stamping tools are in this situation. Money well spent!
Step By Step Tutorial:
Step 1: Base Coat ( as always )
Step 2: Shocking Pink Base Coat (apply 2 layers if needed)
Step 3: Pick & stamp white lace on to each nail diagonally (or whatever angle you like) except the two big thumbs.
Step 4: Fill in half the empty space with white polka dots using dotting tool or toothpick.
Step 5: Stamp the polka dot bow on top of big thumb then add the barbie girl print at the bottom.
Step 6: Apply Top Coat to Protect Your Best Work. (Always A MUST!!!)
Enjoy this girly design!
