January 20th, 2014

I’ve been wanting to do this wall decoration for months but with the baby needing to eat and sleep every 2 hours I just couldn’t seem to find the time. Hello Kitty birthday cake

January 18th, 2014

Back in October I had a girl friend visiting from Hong Kong for 2 weeks and I found out almost last minutes by accident that her birthday is on the day before she leave. So without much time to prepare, I decided to throw her a brunch/ tea party at home since I’ve done it before. I have almost everything but the birthday cake so to make it extra special, I decided to make her a one and only cake as a surprise.

I was loving the style but also cannot believe how expensive it is. $25 dollar for a set of 3D nail polish? Is it worth it? I admire the brand’s creativity but sure as hell not willing to pay that much especially knowing the nail beads are really not that expensive in general. (I have them at home and remembered they cost less than a couple dollars for all 10 small bottles). Now that the product has been out for a while, there are finally other cheaper version for savers like us to give this DIY nail design a fair shot.
